Political party or terrorist group
There are those that would have you believe that Lebanon is a neutral country in the Middle East crises that is going on now.
But I propose that they are not, if Hezbollah is indeed a political party, has is evident by the fact that 33 seats in the Lebanese Parliament is held by Hezbollah. Now what this does is put Lebanon setting on the middle of fence. Because you see Hezbollah tells the Lebanese people that if you elect us to government position we will bring you prosperity. But if you don’t elect us we will turn our military wing loose on you. Well the Lebanese being rational people chose to elect terrorists to there parliament.
Remember, Hezbollah has sworn the destruction of Israel! So to My way of thinking, if you knowingly elect violent people to govern you, then when those violent people attack a nation desiring peace you the voter condone such an attack. Or at least you condone there policies. One thing that I am beginning to understand is that when you try to have things both ways you are setting on a fence. So it is important to be mindful of who owns the fence and who can tear the fence down.
I feel sorry for the Lebanese people. I mean the civilians that are forced to have rocket launchers in the back yard not the ones that have them voluntarily. I also fell sorry for the Israelis that have been shelled. You will notice that the Israelis that have been killed were in an area that did not have a military presents. Whereas the Lebanese that have been killed were unfortunate enough to be to close to a legitimate military target.
Those that are in power and truly care about the populous do not put military sites in civilian areas. Hezbollah does not care about any thing but there own personal power. And for that reason innocent people suffer.
